Lil Wayne is in the news again. After flooding the internet two weeks ago for being 53% Nigerian and the release of his fifth No. 1 Billboard album “Funeral”.

Wayne released his thirteenth studio album ‘Funeral’ on 31 January 2020 and debuted at No. 1 on Billboard. The album peaked for selling 139,000 equivalent album units, in its first week on streaming services. (Video: Funeral)

With the album, Lil Wayne snatched 4 Hot 100 Billboard entries. The album titled track “Funeral” got to No. 88, “Mamma Mia” sat at 87, while “Mahogany” and “I Do It” took the 61st and 33rd entry.

The four new tracks brought his entries to a total of 82 Top 40 Billboard Hot 100 hits. And he has now surpassed Elvis Presley to become the second artist with such an impressive record only after former label signee, Drake.
